This year there was only 1 Superhero!

Anyone who knows Tommy, knows he is a holiday boy! He doesn’t miss celebrating any of them! Over the years he has established his routine of how he celebrates them. Things like hosting a green eggs and ham party and reading Dr. Seuss’s Green Eggs & Ham book to his audience for St. Patrick’s Day. For Valentine’s Day, he has always painted white lunch bags for each person. Each bag had his version of a different superhero painted along with the person’s name. He started this a long time ago, but during the time that we were working at Vision Christian Academy, he would paint one for every student and staff member there. This meant he was hand painting 75-140 bags every year. He would have to start at the beginning of January just to get them all done. Since we are no longer at Vision, he has resorted to painting for all our church members past and present. When he got them all painted, he would then buy Valentine cards and candy to put in each of the bags. He spent his own money doing this, I might add!

However, since the birth of Tommy Man this year, he has abandoned all other superheroes and painted all the Valentine bags as Tommy Man bags! In his mind, there is only one superhero worthy of his Valentine bags and he wants the world to know it! As you can see from the sea of Tommy Man bags, he means serious business!! It’s just the beginning, y’all!! Loads of Laughs!
