God is lining exciting things up for 2020!

It is hard to believe that I have had access to my book since the middle of October, sold close to 200 copies of my book, held a book launch party, 5 book signing events and scheduled future events and speaking engagements for 2020 AND my book isn’t officially released yet. So far, I have found it on websites like Amazon, Barnes & Nobles, Books a Million, Wal Mart, Ebay and some website in Australia called Booktopia. According to my publisher this is amazing and to me, I am just watching God line it all up! We are, however, in the last stage of publishing which is waiting on Christian Faith Publishing to finish getting the book into digital form and them finishing the press releases to be distributed to over 4,000 media outlets. I am praying they wrap this up soon, because I am ready to see what happens beyond my efforts!

All that being said, I wanted to share with you some exciting news. There is a big Christian Product Expo (CPE) in Wilmington Delaware in February that is a trade show for retailers to come look for new products for their stores. Books are of course a big part of this. While all authors are welcome to register and attend the expo for classes and meeting retailers, only 25 are chosen to be featured and attend this special event called the Personality Party. It is where the retailers come to meet the authors and find out the story behind the book. In other words, my chance to make them want to go down to the exhibitor’s hall and order their book for their stores. In order to apply, I had to submit an application along with a copy of my book to their review board. Guess who was chosen??? ME!!! I received notification on December 20th that my book was picked to be one of the featured authors!! We are so excited for this opportunity! Therefore, Tommy Man, My marketing manager (Jack) and I will be flying to Delaware to market and promote our book! Not excited about the time of year, since I am a little nervous about getting around in snowy weather, which I am sure will be a given that time of year, but so thankful for this opportunity!

Here are some of the other things we have lined up so far:

1. Interview in Tampa for a podcast on December 28th

2. Placing inserts in conference bags at the Autism Conference in January.

3. Speaking at the Inglis library with book signing in February

4. CPE trade show in February

5. Speaking at a church in Trenton (Date to be determined)

6. Setting up a table at Family Cafe and possibly being chosen to be a presenter for a workshop (waiting to hear if chosen sometime in January) in June

We are very excited as we anticipate what God has in store for us! We have other things in the fire as well, but haven’t received confirmation on them yet. We will keep you updated on our progress, but just wanted to share our exciting news!
